I’m Baaaaaack

Hey there,

It’s been absolutely AGES since I last posted… what can I say except for babies, diapers, spew, and a whole lotta newborn cuddles?

So, quick update: We moved back to Canada from Australia to be around family (which has been an amazing support), Hugo is now two, and Carter was born a few months ago.  He’s fab.

To be honest, I’ve been a little more busy than fit as I adjust to life with two.  Microwave dinners are a thing (as is cereal for meals other than breakfast sometimes), and there’s not so much fresh baking going on (apart from the muffins kindly delivered by my mom and Oma).

But along with Spring, change is in the air.  The workouts have started up again, and I’ll have a few openings for personal training clients coming up.  Let me know if you’re interested.

As for new recipes here on the blog… nope.  Refer to the clean eating recipes already here.

My biggest recommendation is to keep washed & chopped veggies on hand in the fridge so you’re good to nibble at a moment’s notice.  I try to do it as soon as I get home from the grocery store, fyi.

Hairspray trick for your bangs/fringe

If your bangs (or “fringe” as they call it here) are still hanging in your face, and the little side French braid tutorial video didn’t work out so well for you (it’s not for everyone, I know), here’s Plan B.  Just a touch of hairspray will do basically the same job. Perfect for working out, and going out too.

Hello from Whistler, Canada

Hey There,

If you hadn’t already heard, Andrew and I packed up from sunny Australia last month and headed to our home and native land of Canada to visit our families for Christmas for 5 weeks.  It was such an amazing time, and one of the funnest things we did was dust off our snowboards for a few days of riding.  Here’s a little snowboarding video I filmed for you half-way down the hill on Blackcomb.  Enjoy.

 

 

We just got back to Australia a few days ago, and are quite relieved to be back at the beach and poolside, although we’re missing our families and friends already.  Time for them to fly out this way for a visit  🙂

G’day,

My name is Corinna and I’m a Personal Trainer on the Sunshine Coast of Australia.  I want to help you get fit, healthy, and feeling way better than you do right now.  How do you do that?  Thru eating the right foods (which is called eating clean), and working out.

Now, you don’t need to be running marathons or anything like that to help you get in shape.  All it takes is about 15 minutes a day of interval training, and I’ll be showing you how to do that here on this site.

The best part is you can do it right from home… no need to be spending the big bucks at the gym.
